Cubs are curious, full of energy, and always ready for a challenge – and at 1st Carrickfergus, there’s never a dull moment in our Cub Pack!

 

Open to boys and girls aged 8 to 10½, Cubs get to enjoy the best of what Scouting has to offer – from exciting games and outdoor adventures to learning new skills, making friends, and having fun along the way.

 

One week they might be building fires and toasting marshmallows, the next they could be trying archery, hiking a trail, or learning how to save a life. And yes – there are plenty of badges to earn, too!

 

Cubs also go on camps and trips away from home, giving them the chance to grow in confidence and experience independence (and maybe a bit of mud too – but we call that character building!).

 

If your young one loves a challenge, working as a team, and getting stuck into new adventures, Cub Scouts is the perfect place for them to thrive.

 

Uniform

Our Cubs wear a smart, comfortable uniform that helps them feel part of the Pack and ready for whatever adventure comes next

 

The Cub uniform includes:

A green Cub sweatshirt

Navy blue activity trousers

A green neckerchief and woggle – we’ll provide these when they join!
